You might recall that it’s the Lamborghini Miura’s 50th anniversary this year. And what better way to honour it - apart from a historic run in the mountains - than a special edition of Lamborghini’s current top-dog supercar, the Aventador?
This is that car. Created by Lamborghini’s personalisation team – the Ad Personam division, a bit like Jag’s SVO – it references the colours and spec of the original Miura cars. So, the upper body is one colour, while the lower part is a contrast tone. You get the option of six classic Miura colours, including Rosso Arancio Miura, Verde Scandal and Blu Tahiti.
What else? Staggered 20/21-inch Dione wheels available in either matt gold or silver, a metallic Miura badge on the side and back, a custom leather interior with the carbonfibre pack as standard, and of course, more Miura-recalling stitching inside.
Needless to say, you also handily get a 522kW, 6.5-litre V12 (no SV-spec here, sadly) mounted in the middle, powering all four wheels to 100kph from rest in just 2.9 seconds. Yeah, it was never a slouch, was it? Top speed remains as per the standard 350kph.
Want to see it up close? It’ll be on display at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. Somewhat fittingly, only 50 will be built, with prices TBC, and we’re told the majority of those have already gone. So if you like the look of it, get a shift on…
